Healing at Apartment
Betsy and Nettie walked up to the door of an apartment. The lady who answered was very friendly and even invited them in. They asked if they could pray with her for anything. She said that her legs were crippled. As they laid hands on her, this lady felt a tingling go through her body. Then she began to move her legs! She said, “I feel different.” Glory to God!
God Follows up with Two Men
Part 1: Kelly and Pastor Terry walked up to two men in Wal-Mart. They were standing in line at customer service. As Kelly was sharing the scriptures with the two men, a manager came up and said, “What are you doing?” Kelly said, “I am talking to these two men.” The manager said, “About what?” She said, “I am telling them about Jesus.” He said, “You can’t do that here.” Kelly said, “Okay. Thank you very much.” But before they walked out, Kelly turned to the two men and said, “I will see you later.”
Whole Family Saved in Wal-Mart
Betsy and Clare met a lady and her five children in Wal-Mart. They were moving to Granbury from Kansas. Their house had burned down and they lost everything. There were with a woman from Mission Granbury who had taken them to Wal-Mart to buy some clothing for them. Betsy asked the mother where she would go when she died. She hoped to go to Heaven, but she wasn’t sure. After sharing the scriptures from Romans, Betsy said, “Gather your children together and we will pray.” Then they led her and her five children in the prayer of salvation!
Jesus went after the one lost sheep!
Kelly, Pastor Terry, and his wife were walking around in Wal-Mart. As they passed by an aisle, a man caught Kelly’s attention. She turned around and walked up to him. She shared the scriptures and the man prayed the prayer of salvation. Afterwards, he said, “How did you find me?” Kelly said, “The Lord led me to come and talk to you.” He said, “I have been up all night praying to God. My wife just left me. I don’t have anywhere to live. And I was thinking about killing myself.” Pastor Terry and his wife ministered the love of God to this man in a very tangible way.
Young Evangelists in Wal-Mart
Meagan, 11 years old, and Allison, 9 years old, walked up to a lady and her children. Meagan asked her where she would go when she died. The lady said she would go to Heaven because she loves God. Meagan then led her in a prayer to rededicate her life. Halfway through the prayer, the lady began crying. She said she was so touched that a little girl would walk up to her in Wal-Mart and tell her about Jesus. She said, “Now I really know that God loves me.”
Phone Team Salvation!
One lady (Hilda) asked for prayer for her surgery the next day. I asked her where she would go when she died and she said that she would go to Heaven because of all the good things she has done. I went through the scriptures with her and had her repeat the salvation prayer after me. After Hilda prayed she started crying and said that she felt something come on her when she prayed. She said it felt good! She couldn’t stop saying “Thank you!”
On Fire for God!
Kelly and Patti walked up to a woman and her teenage son. After asking them the questions, they said that they were saved. Kelly then asked, “On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being on fire for God and 1 being lukewarm, where would you rate your walk with God?” The boy said, “4 ½.” The woman said, “2.” Kelly prayed a prayer for the woman to rededicate her life to the Lord and live on fire for him. Afterwards, the woman shared how the Lord had been dealing with her recently about living for Him. She felt much better after prayer. Kelly invited her and her son to church.
Evangelism is Contagious
Emmanuel walked up to a group of people and asked them, “Where would you go if you died tonight?” Everyone had a different answer. One young man said that he would go to Heaven because he was saved and Jesus lives in his heart. Then Emmanuel began to share from the scriptures in Romans, but before he could finish, this young man who was saved started preaching to his friends. He told them the importance of living for God and asking Jesus into your heart. When this young man finished, Emmanuel gave the altar call and the rest of the group got saved!
Sermon in a Bowling Alley
James walked up to a group of guys playing pool at the bowling alley. They were drinking and smoking and high on other things. He went through the questions and scriptures and then said, “Pray this prayer with me.” They said, “You are crazy!” They kept saying that and laughing and carrying on. But James was persistent. In fact, he joined in and said, “Yes, I am crazy! So pray this prayer with me.” All 5 guys prayed the prayer of salvation and immediately sobered up. Then they began sincerely asking James questions about what is right to do and what is wrong.
